Lithium is in our name, but isn't the only thing we do. We are recognized as the worldwide experts in the development and production of organolithiums and metal hydrides used as strong hindered bases, nucleophiles and reducing agents. By naturally extending our existing expertise, we are creating lab -through commercial-scale quantities of custom organolithiums and organometallics such as organosilanes and organophosphines and custom reagents and intermediates via other related specialty organometallics and syntheses. Custom intermediates such as substituted pyridines and boronic acids are being created via alpha lithiation, lithium-halogen exchange or directed ortho-metalation.
